Abstract
We introduce a picture for illustrating the fluorescence phenomenon in quinine when illuminated with light of different wavelengths. This is intended to highlight a popular known fact: gin-tonic displays a beautiful cyan-blue color under certain lighting conditions in bars and nightclubs.
