Abstract
Sidelobe Canceller (SLC) systems are critical components in modern radar systems. These systems mitigate interference from unwanted sources or jammers, thereby improving target detection accuracy in both military and civilian applications. However, SLC systems face inherent challenges in multi- jamming scenarios, which degrade the effectiveness of conventional algorithms. This study proposes a hybrid model integrating the Sample Matrix Inversion (SMI) algorithm with Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) to enhance the SLC performance. Simulation results confirm that the combined SMI- STAP approach achieves substantially superior sidelobe interference suppression relative to standalone methods while demonstrating enhanced stability in complex, multi-jamming environments. The hybrid model offers a practical solution to challenges faced by modern radar systems, striking an optimal balance between precision and computational efficiency.
