Abstract

An introduction to the optical response of graphene-based photonic crystal is reported, likewise it isdeduced an analytic expression in terms of the Chebyshev's polynomials used for the relationdispersion calculation on multilayered structures is derivedin order to provide the necessary basictools to new physicists interested in photonic crystals, since the current literature omits valuableinformation for the full development of students.
